Dréya St. Clair

I met artist and performer Dréya St. Clair at CalArts in 2007. Dréya showed me Jean-Paul Goude's airbrushed photos of Grace Jones and suggested we create our own series of surreal images exploring gender and identity. As a creative duo, we have exhibited at the Leslie-Lohman Museum, Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Residence in Harlem, Rush Philanthropic Galleries, and at the Museum of African American Art in Philadelphia in honor of Ntozake Shange.
